Racing Roots Heritage
Bimota has a left a deep mark in motorcycling history, being synonyms of innovation and bold design. But also of racing pedigree: among many achievements, Bimota made history by winning the very first WorldSBK race celebrated, back in 1988.
The name,
A symbol of ambition, collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of perfection that is featured in its very name: K for Kawasaki, B for bimota, 998 as for the exact displacement of its Kawasaki engine and Rimini for its place of origin.

The meticulously designed Bimota chassis, paired with a Kawasaki engine and electronics, delivers an exceptional balance of power, precision, and control.
This collaboration has been further enhanced with the inclusion of world-class components: Showa suspensions, Akrapovič exhaust system, Pirelli tires, Brembo brakes and Motul lubricants among others.
Handcrafted and assembled in Italy
Each KB998 Rimini is assembled from start to finish by a single technician produced with the utmost attention to detail using advanced componentry, lightweight machined aluminium billet and carbon fiber together with a top-class electronics suite.
Each KB998 Rimini is supplied with the following kit:
- Special tool to adjust the motorcycle height
- Bimota soft indoor cover
- Rear stand
The street version of the 2025 WorldSBK now in production, 125 units will be assembled before February the 24th, 2025. Additional 125 units will be assembled within December 31st 2025, a total of 500 units to accomplish the FIM rules will be produced in 2026.
